blades

Blades for Recycling processes are often made from 12% chrome steel such as 1.2379. For more secureness against cracks, especially for counter knives in Pre-Shredding machines of different materials (tyre, domestic- and commercial waste, thick-walled plastics, metal and cable), steels with a higher toughness are used.

Depending on the application, blades (pelletizing blades, hammers, scrappers, aso.) can be made from several wear resistant tool steels such as Hardox or HSS and solid carbide.

In case of a unknow steel type we have the possibility to identify the suitable quality or we can ascertain it together in trials.
